Who was it for?
Academy-age young people and their sponsor(s)
to be trained by Steve Case of Piece of the
Pie Ministries and youth pastors from NCC.
What was it about?
A 2-day intensive for youth to be able to give
worship talks for school chapel, Power Week,
Sabbath School or Church, or other religious
presentations. “Connecting” will
focus on two “How to’s”:
1. How to put together a worship talk
2. How to deliver a worship talk
Advanced track for those who attended
the 2004 seminar
When was it?
August 27-28, 2005
Saturday night and Sunday, right after the August
26-27 Lodi youth rally.
Where was it held?
Lodi Fairmont Church (45 min. south of Sacramento,
California)
Why: So young people can be
better equipped to communicate and lead others
through the presentation of spiritual topics
in public settings
These are sermon examples for the various topics
(two options each day) presented by academy
teens as they visit other academies in Northern
California for "Power Week" this last
