ULTIMATE WORKOUT
Taking it to the limit and beyond--for high
school-age teens who want an intense experience
that will push them spiritually, emotionally,
physically, mentally, and socially. It's all
about breaking out of your comfort zone and
growing like crazy because of it. This annual
Maranatha project takes place each July for
about two weeks. The large group of 150-200
people will split into small groups for the
majority of the project. In your smaller group
you'll construct a church, conduct Vacation
Bible School, and do various forms of contact
evangelism. To find out more about the Ultimate
Workout, click

MULTIPLE GROUP PROJECT
Geared for groups no larger than 15 people,
Maranatha puts together 5-15 groups for one
large "multiple group" mission trip.
This enables your group to make a contribution
without being overshadowed by adding your group
to a large one. If you lack a mason, a cook,
a pastor, or a nurse, you'll find this is compensated
by others from other groups. As you work on
construction and Vacation Bible School and possibly
medical clinics, you'll grow closer to God,
to those you came with, to those in your new,
large multiple group, and to the nationals.
Frequently you'll find school groups, youth
groups, church groups, and even families make
up the groups that bond together into the multiple
group. To find out more, click

FAMILY PROJECT
Composed of all types of family groupings, this
mission trip is for all ages (our youngest has
been 4 months old and the oldest has been 86).
Since 1998 Maranatha has been providing this
subsidized project so grandparents can take
a grandchild, broken families can experience
a larger family, families can experience service
as a family value, and single people can unite
their family of one with other family groups.
It's kind of like campmeeting with a service
emphasis. We do various work projects at our
site, have play times for those under the age
of 13 (and others outside of the regular work
time), worship times and activities, and even
excursions. For more information about Maranatha's
family project, click
